Welcome! Please take time to view our putants and confirmed mutants!
Putants stands for putative mutants. These mice exhibit an altered phenotype,
but the heritability of the phenotype is not confirmed. Once the heritability of the trait is proven,
the mice become known as “confirmed mutants.”
Currently, all of our mutants are listed at Neuromice.org
together with over 100 confirmed mutant mouse lines from the
Neuroscience Mutagenesis Facility at The Jackson Laboratory and
the Neuromutagenesis Project
of the Tennessee Mouse Genome Consortium.
